Terms and Conditions of entry

We are an independent archery centre offering sessions for archers of all abilities, including complete beginners. Participants in any session or activity accept the following Terms and Conditions.

Archery Shooting: Archery activities will only be available whilst attending or participating in a defined Archery Experience session, there is no shooting permitted at any other time.

Personal equipment: Archers attending the beginner session will be using provided equipment. Any other session an Archer will need to have any equipment they bring checked by Archery Experience personnel prior to use to ensure it is safe to use and must follow all directions in relation to shooting.

1. The sport of archery can be inherently dangerous, as such all participants, or guardians of, must sign a waiver and assume all risks involved prior to commencing session. Participants, assistants and any accompanying spectators are more than welcome, everyone must sign-in upon arrival.

2. Participants, assistants, legal guardians, and spectators that attend Archery Experience’s services and facilities or occupy the premises and surrounds of and any part of it, do so at their own risk and agree to indemnify in respect of all loss, damage, consequent loss and damage claimed by any person

3. Agrees to inform management of any pre-existing health conditions, including any physical limitations or medical conditions, including but not limited to shoulder problems, neck weakness, back weakness, recent surgery, broken bones, heart conditions, nervous disorders, and epilepsy. Management recommends that pregnant women should seek medical advice before they participate.

4. Agrees to abide by the rules and regulations established by Archery Experience regarding the use and facilities and services of Archery Experience and shall comply with all lawful directions of Archery Experience as are given from time to time.

Agrees that Archery Experience may for any reason whatsoever terminate this agreement and require the participant to leave the premises. The participant agrees to abide by the directions of Archery Experience and leave the premises when directed to do so.

5. The Participant consents to photographs or video recordings being taken during the Activity and used by the Operator for promotional or marketing purposes, unless otherwise notified in the waiver or during booking.

6. The participant must accept responsibility for and handle all equipment with care, any direct or deliberate damage to equipment will be paid for at cost.

7. Archery Experience refuses the right of entry of any patron on the grounds of intoxication or illicit drug use or under the influence of a medically prescribed drug. Policy on Liquor is that all participants must be under ZERO Blood Alcohol Concentration before participating. Any Participants who do not obey these regulations will not be allowed to handle any equipment..

8. The participant must be a minimum of 12 years of age, be able to follow instructions, and be physically strong enough to hold about 8 kg in their dominant hand (when they pull the string back it will feel like they are holding 8 kg). Guardians of participants 16 years and under MUST remain on site during the class.

9. Participants with Disabilities, disabled access and facilities are available.

Participants who need an assistant are welcome to bring their assistant with them at no additional cost, all instructions are provided equally to all participants. Please let us know prior to session so we can accommodate participants appropriately.

10. Safety equipment will be provided and are strongly recommended for all participants to be used, when participating, to minimise the potential of injuries. Safety equipment remains the property of Archery Experience.

11. Please arrive 15 minutes before the class to get ready. A safety briefing will be conducted at the start of the class. All participants must attend the briefing before handling a bow.

12. Refunds for cancellation prior to the experience will be subject to our cancellation policy.

Cancellation 1-7 days prior – No refund unless agreed otherwise *
Cancellation 7-14 days prior – 50% of the booking fee
Rescheduling is allowed up to 7 days prior to event
Events booked with management companies will need to adhere to those companies’ cancellation policies and deal directly with them in the process.
Archery Experience operates outdoors and will proceed in all weather conditions including rain (we may pause activities briefly for safety reasons such as lightning). We may need to cancel or postpone a session, at our discretion, or due to weather or other factors for the safety of participants. Sessions will only be cancelled due to extreme conditions. We will endeavour to provide an alternative date to hold the event based on the suitability for both parties, or a refund will be provided if required. No other costs (e.g. travel or accommodation) will be covered.
Our costs for range fees, equipment and coaching remain the same whether you attend or not. Arriving late or non-attendance will not be refunded or credited.
No refunds will be given if any of the terms and conditions are breached, or if less than the number of booked participants in a group activity attend the event.

* For a refund or reschedule, written evidence of why the participant cannot attend will be needed prior to event. All refunds incur an admin fee of 5%

13. Archery Experience’s dress code expressly forbids camouflage clothing, and open toe footwear such sandals and thongs. All participants must wear closed in footwear. Any clothing that is sexually inappropriate or racially vilifying is also forbidden. Long hair must be tied back and large earrings, facial piercings removed.

14. Vehicle parking upon Archery Experience ranges is entirely at the owners’ own risk
