Join a fun, holiday archery experience activity
Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, you will learn range safety, proper bow handling, how to load and release arrows, and how to use sights to improve accuracy. Challenge your target buddy to some fun games.
Sessions include instructions, guided practice, a short social break to meet other participants, and playful challenges to test your new skills.
Experience the excitement and thrill of learning to shoot a bow, no previous skills needed
During the 2 hour session qualified coaches will take you through
Introduction to range safety
Guided instruction on proper bow handling
Learning how to load and release an arrow
Understanding how to use sights to be more accurate
A short social break to connect with others and chat about archery
Flinging some more Arrows
Alternative fun and challenging activities
You will be using quality, well-maintained recurve bows equipped with sights and a set of matching arrows. A finger tab, arm guard, bow sling and chest protector will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time, you do not need to buy any archery gear to attend. Different bow sizes and target distances are available to suit all participants.
Come along with friends and challenge each other ….(beware of the Archery bug)
The Holiday Fun session is for independent participants (or those with an assistant) from the age of 12 years who can follow instructions and participate within the group.
What to bring – Friends, sunscreen, water bottle, closed in shoes, energy and enthusiasm. Please tie back long hair and be aware of jewellery that may interfere with the equipment.

Sessions are run on Tuesdays and Thursdays of the Holidays, either 10 to 12, or 2 to 4.
